ISO 11452-8 is a pretty common automotive standard for immunity testing against magnetic fields. A coil is energized sinusoidally with a power amplifier in the frequency range of 15 Hz to 150 kHz.
Recently, though, magnetic field tests with pulse-shaped signal forms up to 500 Hz and 30 Ap have been needed.
