Bandwidth und Slew Rate

Various inquiries in the past regarding bandwidth and slew rate have shown, that these terms are often not interpreted correctly. This WP therefore briefly explains the terms and their effects on everyday amplifier use.

In addition to the small-signal bandwidth, which essentially determines the signal fidelity, and the slew rate, which limits the large-signal behavior, other factors that can limit the maximum output voltage are also discussed.
