High-performance low frequency amplifiers are used for various tasks in industrial measurement technology. The generation of magnetic fields or special test signals for material test stations and in EMC measurement technology are typical tasks.
The amplifier must be able to handle a wide range of signal types and loads reliably and permanently. Special conditions arise for the power amplifier when operating with reactive loads such as inductors and electric motors, which can feed energy back to the amplifier. The amplifier must therefore be able to supply and absorb current.
